I wouldn't worry about it. With my 6T, I was super angry because the screen got a scratch on it in less than two weeks. I was going to Tweet up a storm. And then I realized the 6T came with a screen protector installed.

Because it's even faster? I've switched back a couple of times and it's noticeable. I wouldn't say better - preferences are preferences - but the speed difference is very noticeable. But to each their own.

Yeah, I am aware that I did not overclock my chipset. But since the S10 and the latest Apples hit higher performance marks on benchmarks (single core at least, for the S10), most of the "performance" we talk about day to day is how snappy a phone is...with 90hz and abbreviated animation scales...

I am surprised that people complain about the weight. Granted, I came from the 6T but i have literally no problem with the weight. The size is a bit big and I can't easily use it with one hand but the weight is totally fine.

I honestly don't care that it's not as secure as Apple. It's just an unlock. If someone wants to a) steal my phone, and b) use a print off of a picture of me, more power to them. At least the FPS is secure and can be used for secure payments and passwords. Really, that's the best of both...

My battery life hasn't been anywhere near as good. It's fine and I easily get through a day, but I wouldn't be able to touch 9 hours of OST. Still, getting 4 hours is easy, 5 isn't too tough and 6 is doable. Having said that, I'm paranoid about being less than 50% so if I am near a charger...

At the price difference you're talking, the S9. I am holding the 6T right now and it's great. It's so fast it surprises me. But the S9 has too many features not to be the selection at such a small difference in price.
