sorry wasnt launcher that fixed the dialpad it was godialer. i installed both at the same time. i just uninstalled launcer...i dont want that. just like you said i want the phone to be android and fast. thats what i like about it. ill try that widget now.

thanks everyone for the help. launcher pro. fixes the dial issue. jorte would be perfect but it doesnt support my exchange calendar. should have made that more clear. i need an exchange calendar monthly widget.

I just got a nexus and came from an evo. i love this. the size and form factor are much better. the screen and battery are killer. i do miss a few features, and need some help. im an exchange user...so contacts and management are great. but one think i really miss about sense is the dial...

this will not work as there is no way to enable usb debugging. im hoping for a root soon. this will be a killer device with a little help.

I currently am running a plain rooted version of the stock sense rom. I was recently in the sprint store and was playing with an Epic. i prefer my EVO for several reasons, but one thing i really like about the epic is the horizontal scrolling apps catalog. is there a way to add that to a rom...

i just used the "simple root" method with vmware and bootcamp. couldnt be easier. i say install windows on you machine in a virtual machine, as there are lost of "hack" type things that are best used in windows. VMWARE rocks. so easy and loads right in osx

try mebeo. i also came from the pre. i think it backgrounds well. not quite like pre. but i also rooted, and flashed the new rom, which does wonders for batter. i leave mebeo on most of the time and it seems to do ok.

Im using google voice for voice mail. think everyoneshould now that anyone can use it. works so great. **I just noticed one more thing i miss from stock. on the dialer, why can i type the persons name using the numbers? any ideas for a work around on this?

Hi everyone. I successfully got Froyo up and am loving the speed. I dont have 4g in my area yet, so i dont miss that. It seems that many were having mms issues, but i used handcent anyway. its working well. here are thing i miss from HTC Sense, and am wondering if people have alternatives...

i just got finished setting everything up. this seems to work very well. but im missing 2 things from the stock EVO build. Is there a way to get the Sense Calendar, or Sense clock? those are the only 2 things i cant seem to find in th e market that are as nice.

thanks. this is pretty cool. now im excited i feel like i can switch around and its really not all that much work. once i have it all setup, can i backup with clockwork then load any version of my "full" back up and have it go back to where i left off? once again...hope this isnt a bad place...

hey thanks. im just playing now. how do i install the google apps. i do not have the market. and this is annoying. i did get titanium, from the url...and have loaded back most of my stuff. but i can reload the market and other google apps.

i also jumped from the pre. if i could put webOS on my evo, and keep the widgets i would be sooo happy. I hope people out in palm land are listening. webOS ROCKS! pre SUCKS! Mine was fine for like 6 months. then disaster. the power button broke, and i had to replace it every 3-5 weeks...
