It does. I have been just going from headphone out on the S4 into the aux in on my deck. That looks like it would work as long as the bluetooth is reliable. Thanks!

I did figure out this problem. I had to many libraries attached to WMP. Sync now works.

Since there is no mass storage option available is there any option other than using the headphone jack to get my music from my S4 to my car stereo? I don't have bluetooth in this truck so that is out. Surely there is some fix or Samsung will realize only having MTP is not working for many...

Just got the S4 and love it. Coming from iphone 4 and itunes. I have had android tablets so I am familiar. I got all my music converted to mp3 and put on my phone. Downloaded Kies to use as a sync. When I synced the music on my phone in the way I thought was correct I ended up with two copies...
