the reboot sequence in that thread (hold power and volume down) is working for me so far. power-cycle seemed to work but the problem remained. the reboot does take a screenshot first but holding both keys past that reboots . . .

you can fix the qcp problem for ringdroid with an app from the android market. search for "Ringdroid QCP error" . . .

some versions of the built-in recorder create these files and hand them to ringdroid. you can fix the problem with a little app on the market that gives you a choice of a replacement recorder. go to the android market and search for "ringdroid qcp error".
