Was able to finally find the fix. It was coming from Google somehow. Went to Apps> People>Phonebook and re-checked Google, then went to Phonebook drop down Menu which pulled up the Local Contacts>touch highlighted and was able to manually delete the 3 entries. My old LG was less complicated.

Cannot remedy this situation, I just purchased the HTC Desire 626s over the weekend. I manually added my phone contacts under the tab "People" with no problem. It's when I go to text a message and pull up the contacts to add it's not only showing my "People" but a section under starts another...
