Hey All- I placed my order through staples on the 9th and just noticed that the hold charge is back on my debit card! I know some from the 8th have been given shipping confirmation-about how long from now should I expect email confirmation showing the new order # and delivery date?

Crap...don't even have any in my state! I've never checked my credit/debit card balance more than I have in the last 6 days. Here is to hoping some, even if not all of us, have it by the weekend!

Me too. Originally had the 17th as delivery date (ordered it on the 9th after Google cancelled the order my wife placed and wouldn't resubmit it) so overall still on pace for expected timeframe. I am happy....albeit impatient!

On the order summary it said expected delivery the 17th. I know its later than I would have gotten with the original order, but I'm ok with it since I was able to upgrade to the 16-and probably less than 5 days later

Thanks! Just ordered a 16 gb version. With the free shipping it actually cost just 20 bucks more than the 8gb my wife preordered for me! Now, I have to wait :-\ I've never been very patient :)
