Yeah, but as of now Google made that purchase to protect Android from Apple and Microsoft not to go on the attack but just as a DEFENSE to protect its consumers! Until that changes I don't really mind it.

yeah basically it's fairly easy. 1. you do a simple root. 2. you just put the sdk (or hotspot app on your phone, probably found easiest at xda) and it will give you a few simple steps and you're good to go! P.S. that's if I recall correctly
