I was told by Motorola Customer support just now that: "Moto X 1st generation supports APtX codec then since the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen Moto X have the same bluetooth profile then the APTX codec will also work with Moto X 2nd Gen." but that customer service person was rather confused explaining...
