My battery life has been great, off the charger at 6:30 AM, on the charger at 10:30 PM with 25% battery left. 4.5 hours of screen time and regular use of Spotify over BT throughout the day.

I would pick the Nexus 6p, might as well get the best.

This rom has issues using the market, the keyboard backlight doesn't work, and there are issues with tethering on some phones. I would not install the current version unless you're willing to deal with that.

XDA Developers has a custom kernel up that can be overclocked to 1.51GHz with setcpu. There are currently several roms available already, most of which are very close to complete.

That actually looks like a usable slide-out keyboard. Very nice!

I just flashed to the 8.18 nightly build and it's even quicker than RC1 - and no lag from waking up on sleep.

I haven't had this issue either. From what I know of the SMS issue has been fixed for quite a while now. Still, I've used Handcent SMS as a replacement and right now I'm using Chomp SMS for better MMS handling.

Is there an app like Handcent that is better at handling MMS messages? The download and delay times on getting pictures sent to me is pretty annoying.

My sync for contacts is working now, anyone else see it going again?

Thank you for reading the story on the front page and being a smart *** about it. You can at least get past the authentication part of the problem with that workaround. The problem still remains that even though the account connects, nothing actually synchronizes.

I'm having the same missing programs issue in market...Handcent especially is driving me nuts. For some reason barcode scanner wouldn't pick up the link to download directly from other sites, but there was an update to it last night so maybe I'll be able to follow those now.

Yes and yes...but you did inspire me to clean off the inside of the battery cover. I had wiped the lense and the outside of the battery cover but for some reason ignored the inside of it. After that at least still pictures turn out pretty sharp and the auto-focus seams quicker although there...
