No, I didn't. Actually a few things coincided with the sudden increase in S Note crashes. 1. I updated the Note Pro 12.2 to the new firmware OTA 2. I noticed I wasn't syncing to Samsung account for S Note and I activated the sync. The account had some old notes that were copied over.

Thanks guys. I followed Muzzy996's instructions and managed to reset the cache. The S Note still crashes, but seems to be happening less. I can probably live with that.

Actually I encountered this problem on my notes 10.1 (2014). I recently received an update but it did not solve the index problem for me.

Naturally I expect and want Samsung to fix this. But since I don't work in Samsung, I can only wait for them to release a fix. The only thing I could do was to log this issue and escalate to Samsung Support. I'd call them twice and told them to escalate this. I hope other users in this forum...

Juan, in case you don't understand, a workaround is not a solution. I am not "happy"; I'm suffering the same damn issue as you all. Excuse me for trying to help ease the pain while waiting for Samsung to come out with a damn fix.

Guys, try this: move ALL your PDF to the main storage under .SPenSDK30. You may need to show hidden folders first. This is the workaround that a Samsung tech support advised me. I've done this and so far it hasn't given me the error for 2 days.
