Gozirra, the power-down/remove sim card trick worked for me on my Pixel XL on T-Mobile. all the texts I missed during the last 24 hours came through after rebooting with the sim card back in.

I'm on T-Mobile and I am having the same issue today after installing Oreo last night. Going to try a few of the things suggested here.

Perhaps I'm getting confused then. I'm seeing posts on other forums about doing an FDR after upgrades and it sounds like a Factory Data Reset doesn't reset the OS otherwise what would be the point of doing one after upgrading the OS.
