ok. found the problem. turns out a podcast app i recently started using was cache-ing (?) something in onboard memory. almost 700 mb of my 1.02gb was this apps cached matterial. whatever that was. deleted cache and all is well.

i have a little crappy samsung sch720c android phone made for verizon on straight talk samsung gives us 1.02gb of app memory built in and whatever sd card up to32gb for media. even though i move the apps that allow it to the sd card, they seem to reserve the original memory from the internal...

im having a similar issue. my apps add up to about 300mb but my memory ( app allocated area) says 890mb of 1.02gb i can't figure whats using that memory. im on gengerbread 2.3.6 if that helps.

well I was looking at t-mobile cause I would like the + 42 speed when possible. coverage map says 2g mostly in area. how fast can I expect on at&t 3G. I'M USING a straight talk authorized phone. I'm getting at max 1.2 Mbps down and 0.92 Mbps up. normally it on both.
