Yes - I can hear the differences.... I leave mine on "extreme bass" because it sounds best - I'd like to be able to add a little more mid and more high range, but it's ok... I'm holding off on making too many application adds until the new upgrade in a (couple?) weeks.

Did you slide the "on" switch to ON at the top? (sorry - sounds obvious, but the slider is hard to see up there) My problem with that feature is that I cant customize the different individual levels - must choose one of the 5 presets.
