Safe mode has been run, and I have had no issues with non-responsiveness. Time to begin elimination of 3rd party apps?

Yes, when it's in airplane mode it is at zero. When I have taken it out of airplane mode, it definitely does spike as it was before. I've been on the go today, so I haven't been able to leave it strictly on airplane. I will be booting into safe mode in a little bit.

Yes, that is what I mean. I will have to try and see. As for the battery, airplane mode keeps that signal finder low, but as soon as I need the "phone", it spikes high.

Any thoughts on the lack of responsiveness? It seems every time I look at it as its charging, the red led indicator isn't lit, and it takes a minute for any response by pressing any of the buttons, or combination of them.

Thanks for merging...I'm new, clearly! I seem to get that sort of jumping around both at work and at home. I actually get strong signals at both places, but I always see it reconnecting. I will try airplane mode and post those results! Thank you
