That makes me question if my phones 40%+ battery usuage by the screen is normal....

I have been using Go SMS lately and have yet to experiance the screen shift I once experienced on day 1 of owning the phone. I tried to create the error today by sending myself text messages but was un-successful (using stock messenging app).

Confirmed on my evo shift as well. When I push the button on the top of my phone to shut off the screen and I wait over 10 minutes(my time to lock is 10 minutes), then I open the keyboard I get the lock screen. If I let my phone timeout and shut the screen off on its own, then wait over 10...

odd post. if its the best as you say and you are used to how it operates why not just stick with what you have?

Sounds nice. But how much it is gonna cost...$200?! 16gb for around $25 maybe the route I take. Thanks for the in though :)

My concern with this issue is if it is hardware related and I need to get a replacement phone. If it's software, well then I guess we wait for a update from HTC.

Good question. I am considering getting a bigger sd card for my shift. Will using a class 10 card make a noticeable difference over a class 4?

I just got my evo shift today and I noticed this happening quite frequently. Ive probably sent around 50 text msgs since I have had the phone and this "screen shift" issue has happened around 7 times.

I think the biggest you can use is 32gb. I just got my shift and still debating what size sd card I need. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
