I am also a WP refugee, Microsoft gave me no option but to leave. I don't know much about the updates consistency with LG since this is my first LG phone. I can tell you that you need to install Microsoft Launcher, way better then the LG interface. It makes the switch easier. Good luck.

I can confirm you can screen share on a 6 Series Samsung TV. I have done it on my TV, works perfect.
