If you are on Verizon, use Messages+ on your iOS devices, Android, PC, Mac, Web... all synced. One of the very few Verizon apps I use.

I can not believe that a 2017 flagship phone can have such a laggy camera app. Very disappointed in myself for not taking the time to really use the camera within my return period... so thats on me. But still.... hope an update fixes it.
