As far as I know, judging from several in depth reviews, the home button is always visible when in standby. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Since the home button is constantly being displayed even when the device is in standby mode I bet it will have burn in! Maybe Samsung is aware and implemented some kind of shifting for the button, so that it will move slightly to prevent it from burn in.
