    Accessing messaging settings with messaging uninstalled

    Answer: Messaging was not uninstalled, rather all the icons to it had been removed/deleted. By going to the home screen and doing a search for "messaging", was able to find and run the application. Now I can update the Messaging settings. Problem Solved. Thank you to everyone.

    Don't update to 4.3

    In addition to the above issues with WIFI and GPS, have noted that the battery is only lasting about 2/3 as long as before.

    How much data do you use per month on the Verizon Galaxy Note 2? (under 2GB, 10GB, 30GB, 50GB, etc?)

    It is relatively easy to keep under 2GB per person as long as you do not view video's on *G (3G, 4G...) - view them on WIFI only. If you are sending many full-size images you could run close as well.

    Have a phone where the basic android "Messaging" app was uninstalled and need to access the settings. Is there a way to access the settings or does the "Messaging" app need to be re-installed? Could not find it in Google Play. Can I transfer the app from one Phone to another (S4 to Note 2)...

    Droid X update this morning to 4.5.605.en.us

    Called Verizon today and reported the problem. This is not isolated; it has been posted on other sites. It trashes the SD card (can't be re-formatted on the DroidX or the PC). They are sending a replacement 16GB SD card free of charge. It won't get the data back, but... If yours was...

    Having the exact same problem here after the update. DroidX Heard anything on how to fix? Anyone contacted Google or Android support?
