Nope....I retuned mine and will get an iPad 2. I like the Honeycomb UI but the lack of Apps (Hulu, Netflix, Office,....) paired with the obvious beta status of the OS (frequent crashes and freezes) weren't for me.

Unlike the iPad I owned before, the Xoom has a very solid and fast wifi connection.

Yeah, I just can't get it to work...they pair, they're tethed but the xoom just doesn't get an internet connection.... I would sign up for Verizon 3G data, but the $35 activation fee is just a major turn off.

I did...it actually says 'tethered in there and my iPhone has the blue ribbon to show it's in tethered mode. But when I try to open a web she on the xoom, it just gives me an error which says that there is no internet connection...... Do you have the on-demand feature enabled in mywi or just...

I actually like the iPhone....just didn't like the iPad since it was a supersized iPod touch with Wi-Fi problems. Kinda miss the ad hoc Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Hulu Plus support of it though. Let's see what Apple will present this Wednesday.

I got it tethered now and both iPhone and xoom say that they are connected but the xoom doesn't have an internet connection.... This is really starting to annoy me. Guess I'll head over to xda-developers and ask them for a custom rom that supports ad hoc networks. I know they made one before

I followed this but I can't get it to work yet.... First problem I have is that I can only pair the xoom and iPhone while I'm in the settings and the iPhone is disvoverable.... Next thing is that once I get them paired I click on enabling tethering on the xoom but it will just say connecting for...

Please tell me how you did it. Do you have a verizon iPhone 4 or AT&T? I'm dying to know how to tether my AT&T iPhone 4 and the xoom.

I'd really love to tether the xoom to my iPhone and am a little disappointed that Android doesn't support either ad hoc networks or bluetooth tethering with iPhone. Maybe there will be a solution at one point because I don't really feel like paying another $20 for data to verizon if AT&T already...

It does have a CDMA/GSM radio and it does have a Sim card slot....however I doubt that GSM functionality is enabled. Hopefully in the future, Motorla will push an update to not only enable the micro SD slot but also the GSM radio.

Nope. Unfortunately we'll have go wait for Netflix to come out with a native app since they use Silverlight and not flash for their web page :-(

Same here.... it worked fine yesterday, but today it wants to bring me back to the touch site whenever I klick home or that faceook logo. I really hope that Google pushes a browser update along with the flash support to identify the browser as either chrome or a tablrt or something.
