It must be the end because this forum has gotten rid of all the separate Moto Z devices and lumped them all together in one category. They were a good set of phones and I'm glad to have owned most of them. I'll ride the Z4 into the sunset with many mods to enjoy...

For those waiting for the Android 10 update, it might be a while. Lenovo's Moto Z4 Forum had an agent mention that "he update has been temporarily paused for all the users". Not sure when it will come back.

Motorola's online store has some mods back in stock. Power packs, gamepads, speakers and more. The gamepad has increased in price to $99 where before it was $79. Not sure how much longer the stock will be available so as always, get it while it's available if you want it.

Android 10 is nice on the Z4. The Android Beam feature is still there. Not sure how different it is than Android 10 on a Pixel.

Ditch Barnes and Noble. Kindle plays kindle books ebooks and can't handle epub ebooks. Google Play handles epub ebooks. Depends on what type of ebooks you want to reach and where you get them from.

There are paid apps that would allow you to do this. One would be Locale and also Tasker. It can set defaults and then when events happen it allows for the changing of the ringer as well as changing the default ring volume.

I'm sure the design team is working on the next version of the RAZR (and probably have been for a while). I wonder what features they'll add for the next release. I hope the next version will have more internal storage and more LTE band support. I don't think it will have 5G or a removable SIM...

I definitely don't think it's an epic fail without top of the line specs. It's a "no buy" for people who only care about specs but for the target audience of the razr I think it's look, feel and usage will be more important. It appears to be selling very well and that's really what the phone...

Both the Z3 family and the Z4 are scheduled to get Android 10

I use my surface pen and the experience is as expected. I'm able to navigate and use ink in apps that allow it. I make a conscious effort to find and use ink-enabled apps wherever possible and taking notes that way seems natural especially since I use a Surface Pro with the same pen.
