I tried a different cable and it seems to recognize the phone now. I get a lot of error messages when surfing the web though, not connected to a network.

Maybe its just my laptop then. I tried everything you said, installing smart switch, reinstalling drivers option. When I plug the phone in nothing happens.

Mine heats up to 110 degrees, draining at 40% per hour when im in a dead zone with no signal.. Have to turn off mobile data for it to cool off. Why is it working so hard to find a signal my gosh!. My S4 wasnt this bad. Sometimes it gets hot just in my pocket. No apps showing high use in GSAM...

Looks exactly like my phones battery profile, same exact wavelock problems . Only started after NG6 update, not the intital kit kat update. Did you ever find a solution?

Just got off the phone with Verizon, Basically your screwed if the update messed up your phone and you dont have the extended warranty. There final soloution? Have samsung inside best buy reinstall android OS, and if that doesnt work they want me to send it to Samsung can you imagine LOL.

The best way i found is Helium, pay 5 bucks and it stores everything on the cloud!!

Need a good way to wipe and restore. Its hard to save backup files to the external SD card. I cant find the location of the backup files on my PC also. Just need a good program that backs up everything to the pc. Thanks

Re: Whos and expert at connecting debugging? Trying to tether using easy tether pro or foxfi. When i plug in the usb cable, it always says connecting as installer, or i can choose from camera or media. The debugging box is checked but doesnt seem to matter.......

Hi group, i activated and opened the developer menu, checked usb debugging, and managed to get the ADB interface driver to install on the computer. When i plug in the usb cable though, it wont connect via usb debugging, it only connects via the installer, camera, or media. At first i used the...
