Correct. The screen should light up at first when you get the notification, then go dark. Then it probably won't activate again until you move the phone. At least that's how it sounds.

Is there a way to return the the stock rom and keep root, or do I have to go back 100% and re-root it? I'm sorry, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this. I still have a recovery of my stock rom, so can i just flash it, even though I'm on miui?

As much as I love my Evo, Android, and all of the apps, there are still thinks I miss from webOS. Which I guess is why I'm so excited about ICS; Android took the swiping and a version of card view, and integrated into a better OS! If I ever leave Android for some reason, I hope I can find a...

Only paid apps are saved to your account, and no app data if I remember correctly. I would think that the Nexus S would get ICS before HTC, Sony and the others, but HTC announced a date, and I've heard nothing official from Samsung or Google. Possibly once they're done rolling out the Galaxy...
