hey thanks for your advice. i didn't kno that the red dot i was seeing on top the battery was an indication that the battery was bad. I installed a new one & now the phone is running smoothly again -

No haven't tried that. Was thinking it could either be that or the phone might have a glitch in the software causing the problem -

The phone itself keeps cutting off. Sometimes removing the battery & reinstalling it won't work to turn the phone back on, have to do it a couple times or connect a charger -

my g4 keeps cutting off even after removing the sim card, memory card & factory resetting. what could be done to solve this problem?
