To reliably reproduce this issue. Even lightly brushing your finger against the toggle makes the same sound. I guess this is not just my particular unit though.

If you vigorously shake your EVO 3D, does your camera mode button (2D/3D slider) make a jiggling sound? Mine works fine, it's just a bit loose inside the housing. It bugs my OCD.
