This wifi hasn't worked anywhere. I'm afraid if I talk to verizon, they will just try to give me a new phone. I would hate to set it all up again when I'm not sure it's a phone issue.

I have pulled the battery and rebooted the phone with and without WiFi turned on. There was no change.

It is the standard "web page unavailable" error. This is not specific to any certain web pages and will even happen for google.com, which is the standard page I use for testing.

I'm fine with remedial if we get it to work. When I select my network, it tells me that I am connected and the WiFi notification icon is in my notification bar. It is white and at full "power."

Correct. I go into settings, turn on my wifi. I connect to my home network, and it connects just fine. It tells me that it is connected. I have a WiFi service signal in my notification bar, and it is full. The home network is fine and able to be connected to with devices that are not 4g phones...
