Is it safe to say that if Debugging wasn't enabled when a tablet is softbricked, then it's permanently screwed? I need my tablet when I go away this weekend. I also need to get packed. It would be helpful if I knew, then I could just get on with other things

Flash Stock and root completed, but 'Booting Fail' when trying to start tablet. I'm stymied back to unlocked Bootloader

My tablet started to become unresponsive so I tried to turn it off and back on. It became stuck in a bootloop. I managed to get out of that, and managed to unlock it via the Nexus toolkit, but can't get any further. I have just managed to get another driver, but was told that the driver did not...

So I can't enable debugging, and can't get past an Android Bootloader Interface Driver. I've downloaded and extracted USB Driver 06 Windows from Asus and the Universal Google driver, but the device manager won't update it to either of those, even after uninstalling the existing driver. What now?

Would this need the device to have 'debugged' set? I'm having a hell of a job trying to get a driver to recognise my Nexus 7 (GSM 2013). I've managed to unlock it, and do a hard reset, but can't get any further than that. Obviously I can't access the setting to enable debugging

I know there's lots of threads on this, but each issue that comes up is slightly different to mine. I have a Nexus 7 GSM tablet, 2013 version (I think). I can get into the Bootloader screen, and I downloaded and set up the Android SDK manager, and used the command prompt to try to reset it. I...
