    The automated said mine was "Preparing" which is more than what the website told me.

    I had the same thing happen with my Note 7. After a couple of days it shipped anyway. I bet Best Buy has no idea when it will fulfill orders for sure so it's a placeholder date. I'd rather save the ~$150 (cheaper than Verizon and 100 gift card) and wait.
