I don't know exactly....I put my laptop in the freezer alongside the phone to backup my data and also while I did a factory reset but after that I'll say 10-15 minutes before it bricked again.

Took out the battery although I tossed that in the freezer too. Not sure how cold my freezer was exactly but I'd think if your freezer is any good then it should work...maybe keep the phone in there for a couple of hours or so

Oh yeah mine's a 505 and I bought it pre owned (phone was manufactured in May and I got it nine months ago so it was still like new). Does anyone know how I could check the warranty on the phone?? Because I want to assume the phone wasn't bought by the previous owner immediately after manufacture.
