And it'd be nice to be able to say a sentence, say "period" to place a period. Then be able to continue to add more to the message before it automatically hops to "do you want to send it?". It makes you rush your statement really fast in hopes it won't cut you off. People need to think...

No problems with Marshmallow here on a Nexus 6. Continued to work as usual after the update. Try reinstalling google play services? Same with Android Auto. etc.

Yeah, that's how mine is as well. Hope they make an update that has a notification tone. You can always take a look at the home screen within Android Auto and it'll show the latest message notification.

This is the single best feature that could hit Android Auto. Without a doubt. Or full Waze integration into Google Maps. One can only wish... Any news? Can't seem to find ANYTHING regarding Waze and AA. It's a no brainer for Google.

Waze is perfect for this. Directions are muted, but all traffic related things are vocalized. We need Waze on Android Auto.

You cannot see the text on screen, just hear it. And it usually shows the last text received as a notifcation on the homescreen - and when you tap it AA will read it to you, but won't show the text. To send a new text you have to do it by voice only. "Send a text to Samantha". Then it'll ask...

Nope I never found a solution. Software updates didn't fix it. Your oneplus running lollipop? Considering you are using a nexus 5 and a oneplus - it's obviously not a Nexus 6 (2014) hardware problem, it's a lollipop problem.

And just hope they fix it? Is there a way to submit a ticket to google or inform them of the problem?

Alrighty so here's the issue... I get in the car. I turn on my App Radio 3. I fire up the bluetooth on my Nexus 6 with Lollipop (5.0 and 5.1) and it connects fine (already paired). Phone and media both work. I turn off the App Radio 3. I turn it back on. The bluetooth auto connects. However...
