My Moto X Second Gen bricked on me this weekend and for the life of me I can't find a replacement battery online. Motorola wouldn't sell me one and asked I send it in for repair even though it's out of warranty, IE pay a bunch for a service I don't need. Anyone know where I can find one?

I meant how do they work as in will they protect the phone if the phone lands on a corner with the case on or do the cases just protect fully when the phone lands flat.
