Thanks for the prompt responses, I already disabled the apps I don't need however they are still taking up space on my phone. That's why I wanted to remove them. What if I need to do a clean restore of the phone? What's the best way to accomplish that and preserve my data (or at least most of it)?

I just got a Galaxy S7 from Telus and there's some stuff I want to clean up. I want to remove apps like Amazon, Excel, etc. but I've been only able to disable them. If I go through ATF and delete them, will that work and free up space?
