Thanks, Chadness. After a late night, I figured it out. Tried ADB, but couldn't get that to work. Even reformatted the sd card after moving files to my PC desktop......no luck. Finally, Went to ED1 via Odin, did the OTA to EE4 and then went through your instructions again. All is well. :D

Ok.........so I should have left well enough alone! Need some help. The first time I followed these instructions, everything went flawlessly. Odin installed CWM the first time I tried. Flashed PBJT kernel without problems. Went back days later and Flashed GC 1.8.5 no problems. Even put PBJT on...

Ok.....so I rooted with the PBJT kernel about a week ago. Quadrant score fluctuates between 1500-1600. :) Tonight I hijacked the wife's Charge and followed these instructions to root and flash PBJT......checked with Quadrant.......her first score was 1734! :eek:

Glad to see someone else notice this. I was gonna post about it myself. Had me concerned, as it seems there's definitely a problem :-\. But, have not noticed any real performance issues.

Thanks, Halo! I'm starting with a stock EE4 and want to set mine up with PBJT kernel for sure and possibly GC 1.75 ROM, as I see yours is. New to Android and rooting. Got pretty good at messing around with Blackberry, but this seems a lot more intimidating!

How long should this take start-to-finish? Also, can it be done in increments......or do I need to go all the way once I get started? Thanks!
