AC editors have the Note 10+ in-hand and we're answering your Q's!

Per Samsung Tech ... no fm radio. "I would like to inform you that the FM radio is not a chip which is available on the processor of the phone. It is a separate feature on the phone and the US versions of Samsung phones does not have the FM radio option."

There is still a wired option with USB C. NextRadio indicated at one time their compatibility with USB C connected headphones vs. the old 3.5mm jack. So the antenna would still exist. Who knows if they've actually implemented this though. Agree it looks likely unlikely FM will survive.

AC editors have the Note 10+ in-hand and we're answering your Q's!

The FM radio is still there; part of Snapdragon 855. Verizon Tier 2 tech support just confirmed to me that it is blocked on the network. I reminded the tech that they haven't been blocking FM for a while now and cited past several devices I've used it on successfully. He agreed and is...

    Whitestone Dome Screen Protector

Installed it on my Note10+ today and will say it appears to be the best screen protector I've ever applied to any phone. Excellent product, adhesive spread is what makes it great. Easy install, great video tutorial. Absolutely no issue with fingerprint sensor. Works great with my ESR kickstand case.

Quick question about the included AKG USB-C headphones (acting as antenna) for the NextRadio app. Are you able to pick up local FM (not streaming) using the included headphones and that app? I'm assuming FM chip still embedded though haven't seen that validated anywhere.

Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Exact same situation here! Just saw the charge hit. Makes me wish I would have ordered the black one the first time as I ended up cancelling the order I placed on 8/24 (for orchid gray) and entered a new one on 8/28 for black. That appears to have cost me my place in the pecking order else I...

How many Notes have you owned?

Note 3 (which I still use as a IR remote for deck tv), Note 5 (which I traded in for the Note 7), Note 7 x 2 and patiently awaiting my Note 8 from Samsung direct. All Verizon.

Does anyone know if the Note 8 FM feature will work?

Thanks for this info!! I was worried. Among other uses I prefer walking into football games with just my phone and corded headphones so I can listen to the local broadcast team without the delay or hassle of streaming. Very much appreciate knowing this works on Note 8. I've used it with...

Do you use your phone's FM Radio?

I use it often at sporting events to listen to the radio broadcast while watching the game ... no delay in the broadcast.

    Do you use Samsung Pay?

Agree. Use it quite often and still have fun explaining why it worked after the attendant tells me it won't.

    Bye AndroidCentral

I too am quite frustrated with page load times on AC. While I rarely comment on anything I typically visit the site multiple times a day every day of the week. Running through Chrome browser Version 53.0.2785.89 m and I am constantly waiting for all the ad sources to load their content. You...

New Google Wallet and Android Pay - Tap and Pay ?

Apparently no such luck. Now that Android Pay is accessible in the Play Store, it says it is 'not compatible with this device' when I click on the 'Install' button for my VZ Note 3. Anyone else? Wonder what they'll do with the 'old' google wallet app on my phone that was supposed to upgrade...
