That update is causing me some issues. My wife has a LG3 as well and whenever we talk to each other she sounds different. Louder, kinda tinney. Nobody else sounds like that. Any idea what it could be? I am going to call tech support in the day or so.

They were supposed to change that and have not.

So it worked fine one day and few faint/static the next. Nothing has changed in my use other than the day. Is this a known issue, intermittent, etc., etc.

Hilarious!!! People are comparing two phones based on specs. I am excited to see HTC one because they are doing so many things different that are supposedly better. I am also excited to see if all of the changes that the S4 will have really make that phone so much better or are they adding...

I have said the same thing but for me it is a comfort level. I never have needed to pull out my battery or SD card.

So to expand this...is it because of HTC giving Verizon a signature device and who makes that choice? Is it Verizon pushing around HTC or HTC signing some agreement that they still have to give them a signature phone? Side note, this is one reason why I am jumping ship to AT&T (signature phone)

I disagree. I think the average consumer does not care about battery life, screen etc. etc. I think the average smart phone user just wants it to work. Specs are a secondary option and based on that Samsung will prevail because they are the sexy pick right now (they produce a great product but...

If you can wait....wait and play around with both of them. I also recommend you writing down what is really important to you from a smart phone and deciding not by brand but by features.
