Try updating your phone and latest Google play services. If that doesn't work, turn off Wi-Fi+

It's actually a bug because this is not supposed to happen every time you unlock the phone. I updated Google Play Services and my phone and the issue seems to be resolved. Turning Wi-Fi+ on and off also seems to have helped some users.

Update: just down loaded latest Google Play Services and, so far, the pop up has gone!

Yup, still an issue on Samsung Galaxy S6. One workaround is to install a file Explorer such as ES and then if you manually browse to the notification tone you want, it WILL stick. However, it won't help if you want one of the stock Samsung notification tones. (You can if you wish copy the stock...
