I'm experienced enough with photography to know they'd need to spend hundreds on the lens to actually resolve that kind of detail, the 200mp images won't be nearly as detailed as one would expect. What I'm curious to see is how well the pixel binning works now that it will combine more pixels...

I can't remember if it's 4 or 5 years of security updates for that model but it launched in 2020 so will remain updated until late 2024 or 2025. Personally wouldn't bank or shop on a phone that's no longer updated but there isn't a huge concern. Android is still a very secure system.

My Samsung Note 20 is the same way. My guess would be that video uses a cropped portion of the sensor instead of the entire thing and they just didn't program it to allow wide angle in the video mode.
