Thanks for all of your help. I think that the problem is the app I was installing. For some reason, its giving me a memory problem, yet when I install other apps even larger, they install.
I have only 11 megs of system memory left (7% remaining) and plenty of internal memory available. This is not allowing me to download additional apps.
Is there a way to fix this?
I'm running hydrorom 1.1 and I'm unable to connect to youtube. I'm getting an error message that says, "Unable to connect to server" Touch to retry.
When I retry, nothing.
Any ideas?
I have link2sd (same idea) and it works fine. The trick is to try the different partitions until it sees the files. I had to reboot a few times and had to redo the widgets.
The only thing that works is uninstalling maps, which leaves me with the original version, but at least its not running in the background. Hopefully it will save me some battery life.
I know that this is not specific to GingerRom, but does anyone know about the google maps battery drain? I've disabled everything, uninstalled all social media, lattitude, gps, you name it, and maps is still using about 40% of my battery.
