Interesting. I switched back to the Pixel launcher and that solved it. So it's definitely a Nova thing. I'll play with some settings and report back.

I'm coming from a Galaxy Note 8 and I had it setup to use my voice to unlock and issue a command. For example, "okay Google, text..." or "okay google, navigate home." As long as it clearly heard me, it could unlock the phone and execute the command. I'm having trouble setting my pixel 3xl up...

How does the Note 8 compare to the s8+ in terms of keeping apps in memory? My biggest gripe with the s8+ has been apps refreshing too often.
