You should try one of the battery use apps. Better Battery Stats is good, although a little bit heavy if you're not into deep geek stuff. I use GSam Battery Monitor, which will tell you everything you need to know in a few clicks.

Suddenly Adfree and AdAway are both unavailable in the market. I've been using Adfree for a couple years and noticed this while trying to update it. Is some new policy afoot? Can't find anything that resembles an ad blocker at all in the market. Ominous.
