Try sharing the file via Shareit. I am using an S7 and I sent the file to an S6 and was surprised they can view it as a virtual shot.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and I shared a virtual shot to an S6 via Shareit and they were able to view it as an interactive picture.
