HTC Thunderbolt: receiving random sms and mms

Re: receiving random sms and mms I'm actually getting the same thing. But the conversations that occasionally get sent to me are two-way conversations. One the other day was inviting several people to come over for brunch. They even were texting their exact street address and house number back...

Gingeritis 3D v1.2 found in the wild

I've gotten the end-call bug as well. Also, I've noticed my battery on this tanks more than it did on 1.1. Plus I notice my screen always wants to stay on. And, I've had several times where I manually set my display brightness, then when I exit and hit the power button to put the phone to...

Still not great battery life using liquid...

I've been running the Gingeritis 3D roms ( just loaded up the latest 1.1, and updated the kernel with it ), have also for the first time overclocked it ( "No Frills CPU" app ), bought a Rezound battery, and I have zero issues with battery life anymore. I run my display at 60%, have one push...

All of the amoled screens have burn in problems. Avoid any amoled screen until they fix the burn in issues.

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

Thanks. I just installed LiveProfile and figured I'd try it again in a couple of months. </sigh>

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

Well, I figured it out. LIVEPROFILE. Was absolutely murdering my battery. Wasn't showing up in the battery settings as having any significant usage or percent. But as soon as I finally killed it, my standby battery usage went from 25% per hour to 3% per hour. Guess I'll just have to miss my...

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

I've been running Juice Plotter for the past 18 hours or and according to their graph, my battery is discharging at the same rate that it charges. Sad.

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

Thanks. I rooted and followed the steps listed in the forums for moving most of the bloatware to a folder on my SD card. It was just the past couple of days where my battery life has gone from almost all day use to a couple of hours before dead.

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

I haven't done the latest OTA update, since I rooted to remove some of the verizon bloatware. I'm running the stock OS, and with it rooted, previously, I could get 15ish hours on 4G in my neighborhood, but in the past week, it's dropped to 3.5 hours of total run time if I'm lucky. I've loaded...

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

An update to my original post, I installed the free version of Juice Defender with normal settings and it is acting completely differently. My battery drain is tremendously lower. I am in a 4G area but they must be testing lately. Because, I've been in different 4G areas and not ever had drain...

Been unplugged off of full charge for 2 hours, battery at 43%

Screen at lowest setting, all location off, no gps, no bluetooth, rooted but stock OS, haven't performed MR2 update yet, minimal use, no widgets on homescreens, no animated home screens, something has begun absolutely KILLING my battery the past several days or so. What's a good app to track...

What if you have stock Os but rooted to remove bloatware? Still avoid update?

    True Thunderbolt Issues

yeah, but you have to do this every time in order to get it to lock. for me, it worked temporarily, but overall, made my gps even worse. i'm with the OP. this needs to be addressed.

Is there anyone who doesn't experience headphone hiss and if so what are you using ?

never any hissing. I have cheapo Sony in-ear MDR-EX90's, and they sound fantastic.

WTH is going on here? Thunderbolts since April of 2010? What? Where?

I stumbled across this last night, and thought it was intriguing. The site looks hokey to me, like it's a fake site just to generate ad traffic. But upon closer inspection, if you hunt around the site and this thread below, you'll see screen shots from Aug 2010, reference to HTC Thunderbolt...
