OK Guys, the question is: Given that you have Gorilla 3, does it make the protector unnecessary? Preference aside, does Gorilla 3 scratch? I have never used a protector with my Iphone 4S and never scratched it, but if I had Gorilla 3, could I be a little more careless and get away with it?

Yes, sometimes it will also do what you described. I am going to change chargers and see if the problem persists. Maybe it is a charger issue, but I thought it was not only annoying, but very strange after an update where nothing else has changed.
