I am unable to get android file transfer to work on OSX 10.8.1 with my Galaxy S3. I am however able to Sync using Missing Sync for Android and MTP. I have to first plug the phone in and then launch the desktop up and then I am able to sync folder, media. Contacts sync via Wifi.

I have a Galaxy S3 and a Mac running OS X 10.8.1 and am able to sync media (music/photos), folders via the Missing Sync for Android. I have to connect the phone first and then launch Missing Sync and then it works fine with MTP. I do not work for them. Sync Android with Outlook, iTunes, PC or...
