Switched to iOS after a few years. Feedback so far

Well, I'm now in the same boat as OP. I finally got ahold of the (purple as well) iPhone 14 Pro. We'll see how the next year goes, and maybe I'll be back for the Pixel 8 (but it'll likely take some major changes in WearOS...mostly more apps. It is laughable how far behind it is in comparison to...

Switched to iOS after a few years. Feedback so far

Yeah, it's tough. I prefer the Pixel, but again, WearOS is just so incredibly lacking when you look at all Apple Watch has to offer. We'll see how things play out the next couple weeks in terms of the iPhone pro availability.

Switched to iOS after a few years. Feedback so far

I have been leaning toward going back to iPhone for the first time in 5 or 6 years. The main reason is the watch. There are just so many more apps than WearOS. That being said, of course, it's nearly impossible to get the iPhone 14 Pro right now. So just in case, I went ahead and ordered the...

    Black Friday sale

Yeah, only difference for my 6 is $499 now instead of $500 when I looked earlier today.

    Call decline doesn't always work

It's having me second guessing sticking with Android. As much as I prefer Android OS over iOS, I really want my smart watch to work reliably (and have interest in the Pixel watch)

    Call decline doesn't always work

I did find out that I don't need to reset my phone to get it working again, just turn Bluetooth on and off on my phone. It's still an annoyance, but less of one. I am hoping that if/when I upgrade to the Pixel 7, whatever is going on stops.

Are you planning to get the Pixel 7?

    Sounds familiar.

    Call decline doesn't always work

Just knowing it is not happening to everyone is helpful! It gives me hope that if/when I buy the Pixel 7, maybe it won't be an issue. So thank you!

    Call decline doesn't always work

Made by Samsung, but it literally markets itself as compatible with any Android phone (outside of those couple specific features), and generally speaking, of course, it is.

    Call decline doesn't always work

But again, this is a feature that should work, and should work reliably. It's not like the ECG, for example, that is specific to only Samsung phones. Whether it's due to Samsung or Google, it is some kind of bug. My concern is that when I google search to see if anybody else is having the...

    Call decline doesn't always work

The Active2, yes. If anything though, it makes it stranger that it is not working reliably with the Watch5 considering it is (Samsun's version of) WearOS. It is a feature that should work with any Android phone.

    Call decline doesn't always work

It certainly might be, but it shouldn't be if you know what I am saying. I had no problems doing the same thing with Active2 and my Pixel. And again, it works sometimes with my 5. But it is something that should always work. I am sure Samsung would say it is Google's fault and vice-versa. But...

    Call decline doesn't always work

I should have pointed out in the first post that I am using a Pixel. I imagine this is likely not an issue on a Samsung phone. Anyhow, I had to reset my phone a couple times yesterday. This is quite frustrating. I really want to stick with it, because I don't like the Pixel watch, and I'd...

    Call decline doesn't always work

Your comment about touch sensitivity. The issue is that while the watch stops vibrating/ringing, it continues to ring on the phone.
