Yes, I know 2.9 is Froyo. That's my point. The aux out jack on the dock is supposed to work with Froyo, but it still doesn't. I'll check out that other forum you posted for an answer. Thanks,

I bought this great car dock on Amazon but the manual says it only works w/ Froyo. I thought, "no problem" I'll get it to work after I root the phone and eventually upgrade to 2.2. Even with the latest update 2.9, I still can't get the aux jack to work on the car dock. The power plug works...

Yep, he's right. Don't forget to wipe...and flush. I tried to install the EB16SC25_DXC.tar twice and consistently got the FC (Force Close) messages. Once I wiped and rebooted...all was well. You guys rock!
