No complaints here. Overall it definitely seems faster and the battery lasts longer.

7am - 10:40pm and it only got down to 48 percent. I'll take it! I'd also say it was medium to heavy use.

Things definitely feel snappier. Not sure about the battery life yet. We'll see what it gets down to at the end of the day.

The Rogers update seems to be available as well. I'll download it in the morning.

That's probably only for factory unlocked phones. Carrier unlocked phones still need to wake for that carrier to release the update. Rogers now scheduled the Note 3 for late March and the S4 is scheduled for tomorrow.

Re: Kit Kat for Note 3 release date? Alternatively, you can buy a virgin SIM card (might need to be a prepaid card) and should be able to get the ota update. You just need to be on the virgin network for your phone to see the update.

Re: Kit Kat for Note 3 release date? I used to have a note 2 from AT&T that I was using on Rogers. I was never able to update it to 4.3 because AT&T decided to only release the update OTA and not through KIES. So if Virgin decides to put the update on Kies, you'll be fine.

The Neo does not have a camera. I think that's the only difference. I think if I get this watch, I'll get the Neo. I never used the camera on the Gear 1.

I heard the issue is due to the fact that the Samsung App store is invite only right now. Once they open up development I'm sure we'll see more apps.

Re: Kit Kat for Note 3 release date? Rogers posted and update to their forums, listing the 4.4 update for the Note 3 as "Coming Soon". Hopefully that means we'll see it within the next couple of weeks.

I bought some cheap screen protectors for my gear. After putting one on yesterday, I realized that the top and bottom edges don't suck because the glass is curved. This is causing the protector to peel off and also collect dirt right away. Had anyone had better success with a certain product...

My guess is once the app store is no longer invite only for the gear, we'll start to see a flood of new apps.

Try restarting the Gear.

Gear Manager just updated to version 1.5.123002. So far it seems like it might have fixed my random gmail alerts and the disconnects. I think those 2 things were somehow related to each other as the disconnects seemed to happen exactly as I received a new email. Let me know if this works for you...
