Thanks--losing the signal in rural areas is exactly the sort of thing I'm concerned about (in case of emergency, flat tire etc.). It's probably unavoidable in some areas though (mountains, desert, etc). I'll have to take a look again at some coverage maps I found. I have to look into it more...
