[Closed] Win one of two 2013 Nexus 7 tablets from Android Central

I just sold my old Nexus 7 and now it's time to fill the void! Sent from my HTC One using AC Forums mobile app

Is the LED Notification light on the One customizable?

You can't just wait until your meetings are over and then open the phone to see all your alerts at one time?

nexus 4, straight talk tmobile sim cut to micro, no 3g

Did StraightTalk tell you to change the APN settings? I only ask because I've never had to change these settings when swapping SIM cards, but then again, I've never used StraightTalk before.

Galaxy s3 Submerged in Pond **NEED HELP****

Re: Galaxy s3 in Pond **NEED HELP**** It sounds like it's too late for rice! :'( The real trick to not damaging a wet phone is to not pushing any buttons or attempt to turn it on until you know it's completely dry. It's these actions that will short something out or ruin the entire phone. I...

Will an unlocked AT&T One work in the UK (on any carrier)?

Good luck with that. AT&T usually won't unlock a device until a certain period of time has passed. When I did this with my old iPhones, it was about a year after I got them. But things always change so I don't know what they require these days...you might also have to be out of your contract...

Pulled this stuff out of my USB port!

I get this crap all the time. I actually use a can of compressed air to blow out these areas. I know they say you shouldn't use air because it could damage internal components, but I tend to use it lightly...enough to blow lent out.

    It's been real, Nexus 4

One recurring problem I had with my Nexus 4 was that if I left Bluetooth OFF for a long time (like a week or more) and then tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't work. I could swipe the ON switch and it looked like it was going to come on, but then it would quickly go back to OFF seconds later...

Backwards Thought: Anyone planning on flashing Sense 5 to the HTC One Google Edition?!

I love it! But it's really a tough comparison between the Nexus 4 since the majority of features for any device tends to come from the software, so the HTC One is practically the same as the Nexus 4. However, what I love about it besides the sleek design is the fact that I now have LTE and a...

    Is this fake?

I don't know what you're seeing, but I see an animated GIF that shows the guy rotating the camera around about 180 degrees to the left and right while he appears to be standing still. So the video was to show how you can take a moving image and stabilize it in one place which will cause the rest...

Backwards Thought: Anyone planning on flashing Sense 5 to the HTC One Google Edition?!

Not yet! I ordered it with the free standard shipping, so it'll be here by end of day tomorrow.

Backwards Thought: Anyone planning on flashing Sense 5 to the HTC One Google Edition?!

I almost have my mom convinced that she needs to finally upgrade her Sprint phone to the HTC One, so I think I'll check out Sense 5 on her phone before deciding to change mine over. In the meantime, I'm on the hunt for the best ROM I can find. Cyanogenmod looks like the most supported, but does...

Backwards Thought: Anyone planning on flashing Sense 5 to the HTC One Google Edition?!

Yeah I guess in the end...if you're rooting, the different models end up being the same except one has an AT&T logo on the back and the other doesn't.

At&t Visual Voicemail not available :(

This is crappy news (for some users) if it's true! However, what AT&T said doesn't really fit with reality considering that I used visual voicemail with my nexus well before I switched over to Google Voice! It doesn't matter to me since after switching to Google Voice some time ago, I would...

Clean up internet data but save internet bookmarks?

Ok, you are using the app called Internet which is just a different web browser. I'm pretty sure that deleting the app data and cache will NOT affect your bookmarks. And like the last poster said, you might be better off using Chrome sync between all your iterations of Chrome...provided that...

Anyone sticking with the Nexus 4 until the N5?

Re: Anyone sticking with the nexus 4 until the N5? How much is subjective. When selling on ebay, I always start my auctions at $0.99 and let the market decide. I've generally always hit the mark for average selling price so that's likely what I'll do again. The major difference between the...
