I'm sure the compromise lead to an improvement elsewhere, but I still feel they've overlooked how important an always-on display is to some people. That said, I've seen a YouTube video that shows the watch only turning fully off once the watch is faced away from you. That's not as bad as I thought!

There are two ways to enable silent mode, as far as I know. One is to set interruptions to Priority and unchecked all available notifications. The other is to lower the volume to vibrate and press the 'silence' icon. Worked for me, anyway! :-)

Really?! Oh, that's quite disappointing. I probably spend most of my time just glancing at the ambient/dimmed watchface on my GWatch. As lovely as the 360 looks, that's a fairly big oversight from Motorola.

I'm about two weeks away from receiving a Nexus 6 and Moto 360 bundle and, while I've loved my GWatch, I think the round form of the 360 will suit me better. Now, given that I'd be lucky to fetch £80 on eBay for a product that cost £180 in July, I'm thinking of giving my girlfriend the GWatch...

Looks beautiful in white, but the black is worth it for 64gb storage - not to mention it'll show wear and tear less! Think I'll pop the beech/bamboo-looking back cover on it though.
